Come and see our landforms presentation! We finished setting up everything this morning and would love to have you stop by and take a look... They’ll be in the 1st grade hall all week!

. . .

In other news... one of New Hope’s creative 1st graders from 1D brought an amazing project to school that she had been working on over the weekend - a water bottle flower! Not only is her flower cute and fancy, but she also helped reduce waste by using an old water bottle to make her creating. Now that’s what I call recycling!

I asked her if she had any advice for someone who wants to make a water bottle flower of their own, and this is what she said...

"First you have to cut the bottle, then paint it. If you have some extra pieces you can tape them to the inside of the flower where the pollen is, then paint that part a goldish color. The top of the bottle is like the flower pot. You can paint it any color. Then go show off your beautiful flower!"
